In the tradition of other legendary two-man groups such as Gangstarr and The Beatnuts, Jedi Mind Tricks is comprised of Stoupe the Enemy of Mankind (DJ/Producer) and Vinnie Paz, a/k/a Ikon the Verbal Hologram (MC).

Since the release of the Amber Probe EP in 1996, Jedi Mind Tricks has given fans across the globe a steady dose of hardcore, fuck-up-da-club beats and rhymes. They have packed shows from Philly to Boston to LA and back. Their last record, Violent by Design has sold over 50,000 copies worldwide and has shown no signs of slowing down-an astonishing accomplishment for any independent artist in any genre. Even more extraordinary is that most fans believe that this duo's best work is still to come, which is hard to imagine given that everything they have released to date is arguably classic material.

In 2002, Jedi is focused on completing a third full-length album entitled, "Visions of Ghandi." Also look for the CD re-release of their first album, The Psycho-Social, Chemical, Biological & Electro-Magnetic Manipulation of Human Consciousness, in stores everywhere July 2, 2002.
